Abstract:The samples were grabed when Sinp-American co-operation investigated Yellow River sedimentary dynamics and marine geology of the southern Bohai sea in 1985, 86, 87. Authors selected clastic quitzs of 5 typical stations in the research region. The surfacial textures of clastic quitz were observed under screen electronic microscope(SEM). The photographies showed that the morphologies of clastic quitz are irrugular or collided pits from Yellow River subaqueous (about 10m in depth). On the contrary, there are many ()curved fissures, SiO_2 precipitates, but few collision pits in the surface of clastic quitz from Middle of Bohai sea (More than 20m in depth).These phenomena mean that different sedimentary envitonment exists in the southern Bohai sea. Both dynamic factors (tide, current, wave) and chemical factors (salinity, pH value of water) caused the different surfacial textures of clastic quitz, but the effection degree of above two factors are not the same in different sedimentary environment divisions. Finally, we can conclude that physical process is the most important envrionment feature in Yellow River subaqueous delta, so is the chemical corrosion process in the Middle of Bohai sea.
