Abstract:Extending the explicit calculations for freezing and ferromagnetic transitions in electron liquids, we derive the phase diagram of these transitions for dense metallic hydrogen. Astrophysical consequences including an account for the magnetic white dwarfs and a possibility of a “magnetic brown dwarf” are considered.
