Common land had existed in England for several centuries,Since late medieval it be-came to decrease and diminish.Common right to land which was the most essential feature of common land also decreased.During the parliament enclosure of 18~(th) century,the common land had almost disappeared,but the common right survived occasionally till mechanized farming came.
