Abstract:The paper describes how to carry out the real-time array signal processing based on multichip TMS320C25 on shipborne underwater multi-target acoustic tracking system in order to get the accurate position of underwater moving targets. In this paper, the synchronous acoustic beacons and the principle of location are introduced. The algorithm of real-time signal detection and parameter estimation as well as array processing computer hardware architecture are proposed. Using the real-time arbitration logic, the shared memory problem of the multi-processor is resolved. Lastly, some experimental results on the sea are given.
