Abstract:In this paper,nano-sized Fe3O4 particles were prepared by the method of homogenous precipitation.By using the prepared Fe3O4 particles as nucleus,TiO2-SiO2-Fe3O4 composite particles were prepared by a sol-gel method with tetrabutyl titanate andtetraethl orthosilicate(TEOS)as starting materials.The composite particles were characterized by using XRD and FTIR.Catalytic degradation of high salinity organic wastewater were investigated using TiO2-SiO2-Fe3O4 as catalyst.The results showed that SiO2 and TiO2 wrapped on the surface of Fe3O4,and magnetic catalysts TiO2-SiO2-Fe3O4 had been prepared.When the solution pH was 4.0,theamount of TiO2-SiO2-Fe3O4 was 3.0 g/L,air flow rate was 2 L/min,reaction time was 1h,reaction temperature was 60 ℃,the removal ratio of COD was 62.0%.
