| Abstract: | Low-temperature multiple effect distillation(LT-MED) is one of the three important seawater desalination processes.The principle,development status and industrialization of this process are introduced.The application of new technologies and processes to low-temperature multiple effect distillation for seawater desalination is expounded,and the research direction of this process is prospected. |
