The Development of Foreign Sea-Based Anti-ship Missile＇ s Warhead

Abstract ： The sea-based anti-ship missile is the main restraint of surface warship, and the warhead is the ultimate component of missile to execute combat mission. The familiar type, function characteristic, re- search and equipment status of anti-ship missile warhead was described, including explosive warhead, semi-armor-piercing warhead, shaped charge warhead and fragment warhead. The damage mechanism of semi-armor-piercing warhead was introduced in detail. The development characteristic of sea-based anti- ship missile＇ s warhead was analyzed and viewed at last, involving modularization and series design of warhead, the optimized design of structure, the design of explosive and fuze, and the novel damage theo- ry and principle research.
