人脸图像特征点的定位与提取方法的研究

摘    要:对于复杂的人脸模式,脸部特征定位是人脸自动识别技术的关键.对人脸图像特征点的定位过程和提取算法进行了研究.通过对人脸图像进行增强与平滑等预处理,并生成清晰完整的二值化图像;利用灰度积分投影曲线确定人脸区域,以缩小定位范围;同时找到垂直方向上人脸特征的大致位置,以便进行下一步的特征提取工作;以粗定位为基准,按照适当的方法对眼、鼻、嘴的特征点依次准确提取.利用粗略与精确两步定位过程方法,在简化处理的同时,可准确提取正面人脸图像中的特征点.实践证明,该方法直观、可靠,具有良好的实用性.

Abstract:Due the complex human face patterns,facial features localization is an important technique for automatic human face recognition.A method for the localization and extraction of the features of human face images was discussed.Firstly,the image was preprocessed for image enhancement and smoothness.Then it was transformed to a binarization image.In order to reduce the scope of localization and obtain approximate positions of human features,the borderlines of human face were determined according to gray-level projection.At last,the positions of eyes,nose and mouth can be demarcated by corresponding methods on the basis of preliminary localization.The presented method consisted of preliminary and exact localization, so the features of the five sense organs can be extracted accurately.The experiments show that the method is intuitive,reliable and practical.
