Royal Buildings with Civil Construction： the Exploration of Civil Construction Techniques in the Taoist Classics Library in Wudang Complex

The paper analyzes the space patterns of Wudang Complex in Hubei, as well as the building materials and detail techniques of the Taoist Classics Library based on survey and mapping data. It discusses the relationship between royal and civil buildings, and the possibilities that they learned from each other. The paper ndicates that the building between Ming Dynasty and techniques, the materials used, the space patterns and spatial organization differed Qing Dynasty, and it also provides some references to the architectural designs today.
