正被遗忘的记忆——厦门西滨220号洋楼探访

厦门西滨洋楼产生于二十世纪二三十年代,其中以220号洋楼型制相对较大,保存较完好。洋楼的型制源于闽南的传统格局,又因为西方文化的影响,超越了传统型制,形成闽南独特的洋楼文化。然而地方的偏远,却导致这些洋楼逐渐衰败,渐被废弃。所幸能遇到220号洋楼的主人,他们对自家的老洋楼十分喜爱和保护。如果每个屋主都有敝帚自珍的情怀,也许我们的遗产会更加丰富,我们的传统不会在现代化过程中过快的消逝。

Being Forgotten Memory——A Field Visit to No.220 Western-style Building in Xibin Village of Xiamen

Several western-style buildings are still reserved in Xibin village of Xiamen,which were built in the 1920s and the 1930s.No.220 building is the larger one.These buildings represent the historical memory of modernization in Chinese architecture in those years,by being constructed in the mixed style of Minnan architectural culture and western styles.But they are faced with the same problem to be abandoned for the rapid urbaniztion as our tradtional culture.It’s very glad to meet the owners of No.220 building who pay much attention to keep their house well and love it deeply.To save the disppearing tradtional culture,we each one should learn to value our old historical buildings.
