| Abstract: | In this paper, the characteristics, architecture, protocols and working procedure of Microsoft Windows Media Services are discussed in detail. Finally , according to the characteristics of its architecture and protocols as well as the need of distance education, a method of implement realtime teaching and courseware on demand in distance education using its unicast service and broadcast service is provided. |
