如何解决乡音对大学生英语语音的干扰

对广西五十位说壮语、粤语和桂柳话的大学生进行调查结果显示:除了一般中国大学生共有的汉语语音负迁移外,乡音在很大程度上影响大学生的英语发音;而96%被调查的大学生认为发音是与外国教师沟通的主要障碍。为此,建议在高校推广双语教学,以帮助大学生克服乡音困扰,提高英语听说能力。

On How to Overcome the Interference of the College Students' Native Dialects in Their English Pronunciation

Taking college students as experimental objects, this thesis explores the interference of their native dialects in English pronunciation learning. After analyzing the questionnaire of 50 students with Zhuang, Cantonese and Guilin and Liuzhou dialect as their native dialects, the data show that the native dialects greatly interfere in college student's English pronunciation apart from the negative transfer from Mandarin. 96% of the students surveyed believe that pronunciation is the main obstacle for them to communicate with foreign teachers. The authors suggest that bilingual teaching should be popularized in colleges to help the students overcome the interference of their native dialects so as to improve their listening and oral English.
