Application of Mechanical Parking Mode in Urban Residential Districts

With more and more cars and the limited ground in urban residential district,parking is becoming an emergent and prominent problem. Mechanical parking can save a large amount of ground space and is worth introducing. By comparing mechanical parking mode with other parking modes, this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of mechanical parking. It also discusses the possibility of applying mechanical parking in urban residential district in economical and environmental aspects. It is argued that proper application of mechanical parking can help to save investment and improve environment.
