有线数字电视网中一种改进的拥塞检测方法

针对有线数字电视网络中出现的网络拥塞问题,提出了一种改进的拥塞检测方法。该方法在显示拥塞指示算法中增加一个新的标识user,弥补了显示拥塞指示算法中由于经历拥塞位丢失而导致拥塞检测能力下降的不足,从而更好的实现网络拥塞信息的指示,进一步增强拥塞检测的能力。仿真结果显示改进的算法对于网络拥塞检测的能力高于随机早期检测算法和显示拥塞指示算法。

An improved algorithm for congestion detection in cable digital TV network

During the process of providing telecom-level service for users by the next generation of cable digital TV network, the congestion will inevitably arise due to the appearance of emer- gencies and hot programs. On the basis of the analysis and research for the early detection algo- rithm （RED） and the Explicit Congestion Notification algorithm （ECN） , an improved algorithm is proposed. Through adding a new identification noted as user to the ECN algorithm , this meth- od can complement the defect of congestion detection ability decline caused by the loss of CE bit in ECN algorithm. Thus this method better realize the indication of network congestion informa- tion and further enhance the ability of network congestion detecting. The simulation results show that the improved algorithm for network congestion detection performs better than RED algo- rithm and ECN algorithm. ：
