The restrictive factors in cultivating creative engineering talents in university and its countermeasures

Based on the historical experience and failure, and practical requirement, it is extremely important and urgent to cultivate the creative engineering talents. The authors analyze the major restrictive factors in training personnel, such as idealistic misunderstandings, shortage of high-qualified teachers, outdated teaching contents and demoded educational methods. As a result, some countermeasures are proposed, including: making the engineering educational target clear, constructing the professional staff, deepening the teaching innovation, establishing and improving the training mechanism.
