加强农村公共服务:缩小我国城乡差距的重要途径

公共服务城乡失衡问题已成为影响我国缩小城乡差距的深层次原因。目前我国城乡失衡主要表现在政府对农村的公共服务不到位,对农民的公共服务水平大大低于对城市居民的公共服务水平,农村公共基础设施建设与城市相比严重滞后,农村居民在公共教育、公共卫生、社会保障、劳动就业等方面与城镇居民相比存在巨大差距。要针对当前农村公共服务中存在的突出问题,采取切实措施,加大农村公共服务的力度,为逐步缩小城乡差距创造有利条件。

The loss of balance of public service provided by the government has already become the deep-leveled cause having impacted on narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas.Recently,this unbalance mainly has manifested itself as the service to the rural areas has not been well carried out,its level is far lower than that to the urban areas and the construction input into infrastructure in rural areas is severely backward to that into the urban.There has existed a big gap in rural areas in public education,health care,social security and employment,compared with residents in urban areas.To create favorable conditions for gradually narrowing the service gap,the government must target at existing problems,take effective measures and strengthen its service to rural areas.
