A new testing method and its application for monochloramine

The limitations of conventional monochloramine testing methods were discussed,and a new improved technology was introduced.Its application demonstrated that the new control strategy could produce monochloramine as much as possible in waterworks,it could test monochloramine accurately in sewage treatment plant without interference by organic amines,nitrites and manganese,and could assist the treatment facilities in controlling excessive chlorine and ammonia feeding and reducing costs.
