关系模式下的XML存储技术研究

根据不同的底层系统,XML存储方法可以分为三大类:文件系统方法、对象管理器方法和数据库系统方法.数据库系统方法又包含enable方式和native方式两类.本文综合论述了XML的存储技术,尤其是enable方式中的关系模式下的XML存储方法.存储方法的优劣主要取决于查询效率、存储空间和应用范围等因素.据此,研究了结构映射方法和模型映射方法各自的典型代表边表方法和共享内嵌方法.结果表明,结构映射方法在查询效率和存储空间上要优于模型映射方法;但后者的应用范围更广.最后,根据两种存储方法存在的问题,指出了待改进的地方,并提出了一个新的模型映射方法.

Research on XML storage under relational schema

The classification of the XML storage approach, according to the underlying system used, can divide into three different types: file system, object manager and database system. The DBMS includes the enable method and the native method. This paper focuses on XML storage especially under relational schema. Totally speaking, the structure-mapping strategy is significantly better at query efficiency and storage utilization; the model-mapping has a broader range of application. The paper presents another model-mapping approach.
