No-slotting pipeline construction advantages and its technical points

The paper analyzes construction advantages, application scope and technical points of four kinds of no-slotting pipeline construction methods including dynamic pipe construction method, closed-type pipe-jacking method, shielding method and shallow embedding and under- ground excavation method, and points out： no-slotting pipeline construction has little impact upon traffic with fast construction speed, but its con- struction technology degree is higher than traditional open excavation technology. Thus, rational construction methods should be selected accord- ing to actual construction conditions.
