“着魅”与“祛魅”——弗莱彻的“建筑之树”与中国传统建筑历史的叙述

所谓的弗莱彻(BanisterFlecher)的“建筑之树”,包含着认为中国传统建筑是“非主流的”“非艺术的”和“非进化的”三个层次的判断,其中“非进化”的判断是长期困扰且至今仍影响着中国古代建筑历史叙述的难题。伊东忠太、梁思成、刘敦桢等学者在对于该难题的正面回答上遇到的困难,证明了西方中心主义或西方文化霸权在对中国传统建筑理解上的深入影响,事实要求我们直面中国传统建筑史料,实事求是的认识中国传统建筑的本性。文章提出如无“内在”的革命或重大的外来影响,任何民族的建筑的发展与变迁,都是在由特定的文化体系对于建筑的核心价值的认定,针对这个核心价值的初始应对格局形成的框架和边界中进行的。文章进一步提出了对于中国传统建筑性质和其变迁格局的看法,并期望通过相关的努力使得对于中国传统建筑的研究更加有机地成为中国建筑现代化的组成部分。

"In Nightmare" and "out of Nightmare"- "The Tree of Architecture" and the Reciting of the History of Chinese Traditional Architecture

In fact, the Banister Flecher's "the tree of architecture" means that Chinese traditional architecture is "non-mainstream ", "non-artistic" and "non-progress". The judgment of " non-progress" continuously disturbed the reciting of the history of Chinese ancient architecture. In order to get rid of the nightmare of "the tree of architecture", we must get rid of the "traditional" understanding of Chinese ancient architecture. We also must get down to facts to rebuild the framework of apprehension of Chinese traditional architecture.
