| 摘 要： | 奥运争光战略决定了优秀运动队在今后较长的一段时间内仍然存在。近年来，优秀运动队的退役运动员遇到了前所未有的再就业困难，这将影响到我国竞技体育的可持续发展。导致退役运动员再就业困难的原因主要是我国现阶段整体就业形势严峻和竞技体育体制改革的滞后。在现有体制下，解决这一问题必须紧紧围绕解决退役运动员后顾之忧这一目标，政府高度重视，社会大力支持，努力提高运动训练的效率，控制运动队伍的规模，增强退役运动员的就业竞争力，拓宽退役运动员的再就业渠道，搞好运动员的社会保障。
