Advances in Research of Removing Heavy Metals from Wastewater by Adsorption

In recent years, heavy metals pollution problem has already become one of the biggest water pollution problems. How to effectively remove the heavy metals in aqueous solution, various treatment technologies and methods have been at- tracted great attention by re,searchers and the governments around the world. Adsorption is one of the most effective and promising technologies used to remove heavy metals. This paper summarized the present situation and the harm of heavy metals pollution, the most commonly used adsorbent for removal of heavy metals in wastewater treatment.
