| 摘 要： | 功能语法理论认为,主位是信息的起点,是交际的出发点,把句子分成主位和述位的方法是用来研究句子以何种方式与上下文语境发生联系的.语言的线型表现这一特点决定了发话者传递信息时必须考虑语言结构的排列.认为语篇可以根据排列出的语篇的主位序列构成,这样写出的文章就会条理清楚,逻辑合理,因而对语篇写作教学有着十分重要的作用.

| Abstract: | Theme is the starting point of information and departure of commun ic ation. According to Functional Grammar, language has the typical characteristics of linearization, which determines the information structures in language proce ssing. Based on the theory, the author discusses three typical textual theme str uctures and holds that it has a great significance in applying these structures to the English writing teaching. |
