王充文艺思想再评价

王充的艺思想的实质是边缘化的艺现。他的“痰虚妄”恰恰弱化了艺的审美性；他反对模拟、主张创造的原旨含义与艺思想的发展并没有直接联系；他对“”和“质”关系的理解有局限性，同时又是泛化的。因而他不足以称为是一个艺思想家。从学理上讲。现代人夸饰他的艺思想，乃误读所致。

Wangchong's Thoughts On Literature and Art Revisited

The article argues that the essence of Wangchong's thought on literature and art is bi-disciplinary views in this aspect. His dislike of falisity decreased the appreciation of literature and art . He was against imitation, but argued that the original sense of creation is not directly related with the development of views on literature and art. His understanding of literature and the relation between its content and form was limited , but described them in general terms. So, He doesn't deserve the title of a great thinker of literature and art. Theoretically speaking, The overblown compliments on him by contemporaries result from the misunderstanding of his works.
