摘    要:多发性硬化(MS)是中枢神经系统炎性脱髓鞘疾病,基质金属蛋白酶是一组蛋白水解酶,有重要的病理和生理作用,近年的研究表明它在(MS)的发生和疾病进展中都具有重要作用,参与主要的发病过程,具有多种发病机制,抑制其活性具有有效的治疗意义。

Abstract:Multiple sclerosis(MS) is characterized by demyelination and inflammation of the central nervous system(CNS).Matrix metalloproteinases(MMPs) are proteolytic enzymes and have important functions in both pathological and physiological conditions.Recent studies showed that MMPs are crucial pathogenetic effectors and play a central role in the happen of MS and the lesion formation.Inhibiting MMPs' activity may lead to an effective therapy against MS.
