| 摘 要： | 本文主要讨论多媒体辅助教学对大学英语课堂的影响及作用。认为，多媒体辅助教学将为促进英语课堂教学整体水平的提高带来新的契机。文章着重谈了多媒体教学手段的特点、与传统教学手段的比较及使用中存在的误区，展望了多媒体在英语教学中的应用前景及应该避免的问题。
