Abstract:This paper takes the Internet Data Center (IDC) cabinet as the research object and carries out the nonlinear time history simulation research in Radioss software. By controlling the element type, mesh size and mesh quality of the finite element model, the comparison with the physical experiment is achieved. The mechanical properties of materials are tested and the material model parameters of cold rolled steel plate are calibrated. The influence of the hourglass energy control mode on the calculation results is also analysed. The IDC cabinet modeling method is reasonable and accurate, and can effectively simulate the stress and real state of the structure under earthquake condition. The method can be extended to the nonlinear time history analysis of other communication equipment, and provides a reference for studying the reaction mechanism of the IDC cabinet structure under high intensity earthquake condition.
