The biological effects of plant caused by environmental stress stimulation

Various environmental stresses are stimulated the plants in the nature because of their 'immobility', so the relationship of stress-growth is the focus for biologists and physicists, and it's also the nucleus of Biomechanics. Many researches have showed that Outside stress has great influence on the growth and development of plants. In this paper the studies of the biological effects caused by stress on plant in the domestic and abroad are reviewed. We firstly discussed the macroscopically biological effects caused by environmental stress stimulation,. Secondly the studies of biological effects of plant caused by environmental stress stimulation in the level of cells and molecules are chiefly expounded, mainly including the biological effects caused by single cell loaded, electromagnetic, microgravity, ultrasonic and strong sound, and some possible mechanisms are introduced and discussed. At last, the research tendency of plant perceiving stress is prospected.
