AUTOMATIC MEASURING/CONTROL OF TECHNOLOGICAL DATA FOR HI-FREOUENCY WELDING PROCESS

with conputerized control of all the process data of the welded pipe production line,it is possible to get relevant measurement accuracy increased significantly, hence,welding quality ensured. The Φ76mm welded Pipe Mill installed at Harbin Steel Tube Plant has been modified by adding an auto-measuring/control system for monitoring data of the hi-frequency welding process flow which enables such functions concerning the operation line as auto-control of welding temperature,automeasurement of welding pressure and speed as well as aiding production management. Described in the article are main aspects of the said computerized system,including configuration,working principle and functions.
