Abstract:On the basis of a comprehensive scientific field investigation into inner reservoir scaling problems in Malin Oil Fields, Changqing, the chemical interactions between the imcompatible injected fresh water and high salinity formation waters in different oil bearing strata, the chemical reactions of the injected fresh water and the rock minerals in contact, and the resultant changes in chemical composition of the produced waters are described in this paper. The relations of various salts deposites to the chemical changes in the waters are analyzed and summarized.
