模因论视域下汉语公示语英译及其教学启示

摘    要:模因是一种与基因相似的现象,它是一个文化信息单位,通过模仿而得到传递。汉语公示语的翻译可以将汉语公示语、汉语公示语英译和模因相结合,以模因论为指导进行研究。在模因论与汉语公示语英译教学中,应重视模因理论的传授,透彻理解模因传播周期;遵循翻译技能的发展规律,培养翻译能力;强化翻译策略传授,提高汉语公示语英译质量。

Abstract:Memes,as a phenomenon similar to genes and a unit of cultural information,are transmitted by imitation.The study of Chinese public signs translating may be guided by memes,and may combine Chinese signs,English translation of Chinese public signs and memes.While teaching memes and English translation of Chinese public,the teaching of meme theory should be emphasized to obtain a thorough understanding of meme propagation cycle;the developing law of translating skills should be followed to develop the translating competence;the translating strategies should be enhanced to improve the quality of English translation of Chinese public signs.
