摘    要:车牌自动识别系统可以分为图像采集、图像预处理、车牌定位、车牌预处理、字符分割、字符识别几大部分.每个模块即相互关联的,又有其自身的特点和技术.车牌定位是车牌识别的基础,本文采用水平和垂直的车牌定位算法;车牌字符的分割是进行单个字符识别的前提,本文采用一种垂直投影的字符分割方法;字符识别采用了BP神经元网络的方法.

Abstract:License plate automatic recognition system can be divided a few modules that are image acquisition,image processing,license plate orientation,license plate segmentation,character recognition.As well as they are correlations in each module,they have respectively traits and technologies.The license plate location is the base of the VLPR.,In this paper,the horizontal and vertical location algorithm is adopted;The character segmentation of license plate is the premise of single character recognition,a vertical projection character segmentation gorithm is proposed;Character recognition adopte BP neural network.
