An Approach in the Match between Engine and Lock-up Torque Converter

The author analyzes the lock-up process of a lock-up torque converter in this paper and discusses reasonable selection of the diameter and lock-up point for such converter through theoretical analysis and computerized deter-mination of the optimum match between engine and lock-up torque converter.
