A Remark on the Legendre-collocation Method for the Numerical Solution for Second Kind Integral Equations

In this article, the convergence on the Legendre-collocation method for numerical solurtion of Fredholm integral equations of the second kind is discussed.At first, we choose Legendre polynomials as basis and then estimate the convergence of the approximate solution. We prove that the convergence order of the approximate solution remains optimal. Finally, xome numerical examples show the accuracy of the method.
