摘    要:针对高速光纤交换网络的交换服务需求,设计了一种基于信令降频方法的高速光纤交换机.该交换机在信令寻径技术基础之上,对信令帧进行降频编码,使得交换机在高速网络中无需借助串并转换器把高频串行信号转换成低速并行信号,就能够直接识别信令帧内容,从而快速正确地完成交换工作.试验结果显示:基于信令降频方法的交换机结构简单,工作效率和可靠性得到很大提高,成本大大降低.

Abstract:Most current switches need serial-to-parallel transceivers to identify the high-frequency signals.We proposed a method of encoding the token-frames for controlling the switch to reduce its frequency.We first designed a set of codes for reducing frequency,including "0000011111" and "1111100000".Then we combined the codes to describe the different token-frames.In this way,the frequency of the token-frames is reduced to one fifth of the former frequency,and the transceivers are no longer needed in the switch.Based on the method,we redesigned the protocols and the switch's architecture.Experiments show that the new switch has a very simple architecture and lower cost.For a 16-port switch,16 transceivers,4 FPGAs and 500 high-frequency signal lines are saved,and the area of PCB board is reduced to only half of the original.
