Abstract:The effects of two kinds of siloxane surface active agent with different content of hydroxyl groups and number of hydroxysilicone on silicone rubber compound were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy ( XPS ) , which was compared with theoretical values.The results indicated that the range of optimization amounts of hydroxysilicone oil which condensed with hydroxyl groups onto the surface of gas-phase foam silica. When the number of hydroxysilicone units was less, the interaction tendency was favourable for hydroxyl groups and silica to condense and dehydrated.
