Abstract:While the pressure drop ranging between11.3 to 21.5MPa,and the mass velocity between 250 and 1 200kg/(m2·s) and the dryness between 0 and 1,the frictional pressure drop of steam-water flow in horizontal four-head rifled tube(28.6mm×5.8mm) were studied under adiabatic condition.The experimental results show that the frictional pressure drop of two phase flow in rifled tube can be higher than that in the smooth tube,and the friction multiplier can increase with rise of dryness and reach the peak at the moment the dryness becomes high,and then it begins to decease with continuous rise of the dryness.The mass velocity influences little on friction multiplier.The friction multiplier decreases with rise of the working medium pressure.
