| Abstract: | A new type of bridge structure space truss bridge with concrete filled steel tube arch is advanced in this paper.The conception is first used to the design of a highway bridge which is of 50m span and 10m width.In accordance with the mechanic characteristics of space truss, concrete filled steel tube and tied arch bridge,several topics such as structure components, mechanism of load transmition, analytic method and aesthetics of the new bridge structure are discussed. |
