金属铝在冰晶石氧化铝熔液中的溶解度测定

摘    要:研究了金属铝在冰晶石氧化铝熔液中的溶解现象,并通过实验测得铝在通电和不通电两种状态下的溶解度·实验结果表明在通电时铝在冰晶石氧化铝熔液中的溶解度明显减小,认为这是阴极极化所产生的保护作用所致·

Abstract:A study was carried out to investigate the solubility of aluminium in molten cryolite-alumina which is important in aluminium production. The solubility of aluminium was measurated at about 950℃ and the molten electrolyte consists of Na3AlF6(molar ratio=2.15),Al2O3(2.83 mass%) and CaF6(2.83 mass%). In condition of no energizing,the solubility of aluminium was found out about 0.117%. In condition of faint DC(12.5mA),the solubility of aluminium drops to only about 0.095%. It was found that the solubility decreases significantly by addition of faint DC because of the protection effect of cathode polarizing. The phenomena that the concentration of aluminium is so low(<0.007%)in industry can be explained by present study.
