护理学全英语教学教师素质分析及对策

摘    要:目的]分析护理学全英语教学教师的现有素质。为制定全英语师资培养方案提供决策依据。方法]以承担护理学专业课程全英语教学的28名教师为对象,进行问卷调查。结果]护理学全英语教学以5年以下教龄、本科学历的青年教师为主体;24人接受过英语进修;13人组织或参加过科研工作;14人备课时以参考全英文书籍为主;10人在课堂上有较多临场发挥;19人认为学生对全英语教学的接受程度在较好以上;28人均认为全英语教学提高了自身护理学专业英语素质。结论]现有的护理学全英语教学教师队伍已较好地完成了教学任务。但教学经验积累、学历教育、医学专业英语培训、教学科研能力、全英语思维方式、课堂临场发挥能力、与学生的沟通方面仍有待加强,以提高教学质量。

Abstract:Objective: To analyze current diathesis of nursing teachers teaching in total English and to provide some policy-making bases for working out a training program for teachers teaching totally in English. Methods: A total of 28 nurses took on teaching nursing specialty courses totally in English were investigated by filling out questionnaire. Results: Nursing teachers teaching totally in English were mainly young with college level education background and with teaching experience of less than 5 years. Among them, 24 teachers had participated in English training, 13 teachers had either organized or participated in scientific research; 14 of them have mainly referred to English books as they prepared class teaching. Ten of them had better scene exertion in class teaching and 19 of them thought that students had better understanding of their English teaching. All totally 28 teachers thought that teaching in English had promoted their own nursing professional English ability. Conclusion: At present, nursing teachers teaching totally in English have completed teaching task well. However, it is still necessary to strengthen in such aspects to promote teaching quality of teachers including accumulation of teaching experience, continuing education, medical professional English training, teaching research ability, total English thinking mode, scene exertion ability in class teaching and communication with students.
