轻中度骨性Ⅲ类错矫治后牙关系的PAR指数评价

目的比较轻中度骨性Ⅲ类错畸形拔牙矫治和非拔牙矫治的牙矫治效果。方法测量80例矫治完成的轻中度骨性Ⅲ类错患者治疗前后模型的PAR指数,并进行比较。结果两组治疗前,牙齿错位、咬合关系和覆盖的PAR指数有显著性,P<0.05;2组治疗后,牙齿错位与中线差异有显著性,P<0.05;治疗前后PAR减少的百分率中,牙齿错位、咬合关系项目差异有显著性,P<0.05。结论PAR分值能反映错严重程度,拔牙病例的错主要在牙齿错位、覆盖、中线不调方面较非拔牙病例重。拔牙矫治更有利于牙齿错位的调整。

Application of Peer Assessment Rating index in evaluation of occlusal outcome in orthodontic therapy with mild or moderate skeletal class III malocclusion

Objective To compare the outcomes of orthodontic treatment for mild or moderate skeletal Class III malocclusion using the Peer Assessment Rating (PAR) index.Methods Eighty cases were evaluated. Pre-treatment and post-treatment study casts were assessed by the PAR Index. Results The extraction group had significantly higher initial PAR scores,with greater initial dental displacement,dento-occlusal and greater initial overjet,whereas the dental displacement and centerline had statistical significance between the two groups after the treatment. The percentage reduction in dental displacement and dento-occlusal scores had statistical significance between the two groups. Conclusion The extraction cases showed more severe dental displacement,dento-occlusal and overjet. Extraction treatment is more efficient in correcting dental displacement abnormality.
