| Abstract: | The static sealing mechanism of the gasket, the failure forms and the factors that have effect on the gasket failure such as the compress vs elastic resilience,the relaxation of the gasket, the effect of the bolt intensity and rigidity and the effect of the flange. Some conclusions that have effect on practical works were obtained. |
