| Abstract: | A group of layered ternary compound MAX phases are a kind of structure-functional materials,which combine novel properties of metals and ceramics.A review is presented on the recent research of a layered ternary compound MAX phases and its composites.The preparation,microstructure,physical and mechanical properties are introduced,and its application is predicted. |
