Application of Quantum Information Technology in Financial Industry

In the 1970s, quantum information technology is generated in the intersection of quantum mechanics and information science. Its main research fields include quantum teleportation, quantum computation, quantum storage and quantum sensor. In recent years, with the great breakthrough in the research of quantum information technology, the application value of quantum information technology is further highlighted. This paper first introduces the origin and definition of quantum information technology. Secondly, it introduces the principle of quantum teleportation, quantum computation, quantum storage and quantum sensor technologies, and combines the development characteristics of financial industry to explore the application scenarios of various quantum information technologies in the financial industry. Finally, it discusses the great challenges that quantum information technology brings to the financial industry, and gives specific development suggestions.
