| 摘 要： | 英汉委婉语、禁忌语是一种普遍存在的语言现象和文化现象,它们是语言文化联系非常紧密的部分,许多深层文化通过委婉语表达和传承,英汉委婉语、禁忌语表现出两民族趋善趋美的一致性,但同时也表现出巨大的文化差异,通过英汉委婉语、禁忌语的比较来传授文化,是英语教学中文化教学的一个有效方法。

| Abstract: | Both Euphemism and Taboo is a component of language that is closely linked with culture.Much of the deep culture of a language is instantiated and transmitted through Euphemism and Taboo.They showed not only the coincide in seeking kindness and beauty but also much difference.So it is a proper method to teach target language culture through euphemism to culture teaching in language education. |
