AODV Routing Algorithm Multicast Communication

Ad-hoc network's topological is variational, moreover mobile network have bandwidth and batteries limit, so it is difficult to design an appropriate routing protocol. The Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector(AODV) routing protocol is prevalent used in ad hoc network, it provides both unicast and multicast communication connectivity in an ad hoc mobile environment. Transmitting message to a group at one time means multicast communication. The function of multicast communication realization in AODV depends on establishing a multicast tree. This paper we have presented details of the AODV multicast routing algorithm, especially the process of Multicast tree's establishment and maintenance. And the key parameters in these simulations were transmission radius and data rates.
