Research on Federate Compliance Test Software

For reuse?interoperability and extendibility, it is necessary to develop simulation system based on High Level Architecture (HLA), which presents the future of system simulation. Federates based on HLA should conform to a series of rules and can exchange data effectively through Run Time Infrastructure (RTI). Therefore, it is necessary to design effective Federate Compliance Test Software (FCT) to test federates, which assure the correctness of federates. The paper first introduced backgrounds of FCT; then explained some correlative definitions and analyzed the status of FCT in FTS, compliance test process and auxiliary tools used in testing; in the final, the developing process of FCT is described, focusing on generating test federate and registering test process.
