亚运会与城市次区域发展——亚运会背景下广州市荔湾区发展策略

广州亚运会已成为促进城市快速发展的战略工具,荔湾区是广州市核心城区之一,亚运会的举办为这一城市次区域带来了巨大的发展契机。"五区一街"城市更新规划以激活老城区历史文化保护及提升旧城区宜居环境为目标,采取文化休闲荔湾、商埠荔湾、生态荔湾等发展策略,通过平衡保护与开发间的矛盾,保护和传承城市文化,为后亚运时期的城市次区域发展及"广佛同城"提供足够的发展空间。

Asian Games and Inner District Redevelopment:Liwan District Example

Preparation for the 2010 Asian Games has pushed urban development in Guangzhou forward very rapidly.As one of the core districts in Guangzhou,the Liwan district adopted a five sections and one streetrenovation plan to promote historical preservation and an improved inner city living environment.Cultural,recreational,commercial,and ecological strategies are used to balance preservation and new construction.Long term post-Asian Games and Guangzhou-Foshan spatial integration strategies are considered.
