Abstract:In order to explore the influence of microwave heat treatment on the mechanical properties of invisible orthodontic appliances without brackets,stereo lithography apparatus(SLA)light-cured three dimensional(3D)printed standard specimens were tested for tensile and bending mechanical properties after microwave heat treatment with different powers.And the effectiveness of the microware heat treatment process before the film processing process was verified by the 3D deviation.The results show when the microwave power is 400 W,the tensile strength is 50.6 MPa,which has increased 19.06%,the elongation at break reaches 13.24%,the bending strength is 66.8 MPa,and the flexural modulus is 2042 MPa.The deformation rate within the 0.1 mm tolerance range is reduced by 14.33%.Microwave heat treatment can optimize the mechanical properties of resin parts and effectively improve the manufacturing accuracy of appliances.
