Abstract:Battery is used widely in EV and renewable energy generation because of its long-time storage and low price. However voltage and energy of cell are very low. In order to increase storage energy, cells are usually used in series connection. But because there is difference between cells, state of charge will be different after a long time, which can decrease the efficiency of battery pack. Battery charge equalization is very important. A review on battery charge equalization will be described in this paper.
